Of course there have also been rumours of a surface Mini and most significant is the apparent determination to keep the RT alive although no-one seems to want it. Much cheaper Android options with as much capability are available in a wide variety of brands and sizes.<\/p>\n

Introduced along with general availability of Windows 8 bit the RT has not sold well,\u00a0 likely because it was viewed as overpriced even with a price slash of\u00a0 $150 down to $349.<\/p>\n

The RT is characterized as simply a tablet<\/a>, the Pro<\/a> leans more toward a PC and certainly those who have and use the Pro seem generally to be very happy with it but are not in a hurry to give up on their desktop computers if they still have them.<\/p>\n
