Sarah Austin, most recently featured on the Bravo channel’s reality series “Startups: Silicon Valley”, will join with Naima Mora, the winner of “America’s Next Top Model”, as members of an exclusive panel co-sponsored by SAP, the provider of the My Runway mobile app, and the Art Institute of San Francisco.

Sarah will participate in a discussion titled “Secret Ingredients to a Successful Fashion App” with some of the top minds in business, fashion, and mobile technology on Thursday, August 15th at 5:30 p.m. at the Art University of California building in San Francisco.

The event will also feature a fashion show, Twitter contest and an exclusive book signing with Ms. Mora.

“There are a lot of great examples where the blending of fashion and technology is already happening, such as mobile cases designed by Kate Spade, Swarovski’s crystal 4GB USB drives and wearable fitness, not to mention apps like My Runway from SAP,” said Sarah Austin. “I’m excited to interact with the other great members of this panel session and discuss what all this means for designers, brands and consumers.”

Not only will Sarah be joined in the discussion by Naima Mora, but also by other leading personalities in the fashion business, such as Paul Friedland, senior director of marketing at Levi Strauss & Co; Stephanie Rahlfs, the owner of Stiletto Jungles Enterprises; and Li Gong, vice president of design and frontline applications at SAP and the visionary behind My Runway.
